With over 25 years at TaxSearch, Stephanie Gilmartin is a leading executive recruiter in the tax industry. Her expertise spans all areas of taxation, with a particular focus on helping foreign-owned companies staff critical senior-level roles in their U.S. operations. Stephanie excels at building trusting relationships with clients, helping them attract tax professionals who both mitigate risks and drive shareholder value.

David joined Tax Search, Inc. as a Sr. Recruiter in 2023, and he is on track to being a Director at Tax Search, Inc. Prior to recruiting, David worked as a private investigator, public school educator, military and law enforcement researcher, and as an adjunct professor of forensic psychology at both Argosy University of San Diego and at National University. During his rigorous deployment in Afghanistan, David provided psychological and leadership profiles of Afghanistan’s presidential candidates on behalf of the U.S. and NATO Forces. Upon his return to the States, he decided to foster his passion for service in the space of executive search. 

Since 2014, he has applied the principles of discipline, conscientiousness, and authenticity to his craft bringing his clients extraordinary results. David has recruited for a wide array of industries including Legal, Blockchain, Construction, Energy, and VC, where he has consistently proven himself to be an incredible asset to both his clients and candidates. And now, he is grateful for the opportunity to apply his recruiting experience and expertise for the purpose of advising and consulting with tax professionals, so that he can augment his clients’ career growth and leadership.

Cheri is a Project Coordinator for TaxSearch based in the Mount Pleasant, SC office. She joined TaxSearch in the fall of 2022 and has become an integral member of the team. Cheri is the primary support for two of our executive search team members. 

She handles day-to-day administrative functions throughout the execution of the search process. For those she supports, Cheri is the lead on agreements with clients, setting up initial search meetings, and is the main point of contact for Human Resources and hiring authorities during the search process. Cheri also enjoys assisting our marketing team.

Debbie is a TaxSearch Project Coordinator in our Tulsa location. She joined TaxSearch in 1996 and became the primary support for three members of the retained search team. 

Handling the day-to-day administrative functions throughout the execution of the search process, Debbie is one of the project coordinators in facilitating search agreements with clients, setting up initial search meetings, developing company and candidate profiles, and is the main point of contact for Human Resources and hiring authorities during the search. Debbie also assists our consulting team by sourcing candidates. She enjoys the work she does with TaxSearch as she finds it rewarding to help make successful placements.

With over 15 years of project coordinating experience, Amanda has been serving TaxForce as the project coordinator, assisting in day-to-day operations since 2022. In the summer of 2024, she transferred to TaxSearch to help serve the team in permanent placements. She is passionate about assisting in the search process so consultants can succeed in finding their ideal career.

Amanda is a native of Alabama (War Eagle!) and has lived in Charleston since 2001. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son, Braeden, her family, and friends, along with her two dogs, Sully and Nellie. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, photography and reading.

A seasoned international tax professional, Frank, holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law – Newark and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. With extensive experience in tax compliance and planning, Frank has worked with some of the premier public accounting firms such as KPMG, Baker Tilly, and Cohn Reznick. He focused on complex international tax issues, including GILTI and FDII regulations. 

A strong advocate for team development, Frank has led training programs and managed teams to enhance compliance engagements for corporate clients. Passionate about reading, music, and sports, Frank enjoys spending time with his fiancée, his two cats, and has been working on writing a fiction novel, in his free time.
